NSW J24 State Championships

Many thanks to Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club for hosting the 2012 NSW J24 State Championships and too all entrants for their participation in another great regatta.  Very light breeze on Saturday building to a decent 15knots by the end of Sunday meant we still got 6 races in, blue skies and all round great weather! We appreciate all the efforts for skippers for racing and recognise the efforts of the interstate boats in getting to Sydney and hope you will continue to return for many more regattas.  To All NSW owners, we apologise that the Trophies again went to Victorian, Dave Suda..he’s hard to beat but lets keep trying!!!

  2. I wish to thank my crew who did a sterling job. We had a fantastic time and thank Belinda for buying the lime green tops and getting in the spinnaker at awkward moments without hestitation, Stuart for performing outstandingly on the bow and Eleni for adjusting whatever we yelled at her and of course Fitzie for being faster than ususal as the crew gave him hell for missing the Manly ferryy and Such is Life AUS 1111 coming at us on starbord Thank you to RPEYC at we sat enjoying the view on Friday evening after a long trip from Melbourne thinking yes it was well worth while. And thank you to Janette for putting up my crew in her place and staying an extra night. And the best thank you to Paula and Sean for organising a wonderful regatta and location and hopefully we will be back there next year despite the stupid tide on the last leg of the final race.
