The Tasmanian J24 Class Association is a member of the National, and International J24 Class Association and the Tasmanian fleet is very active both on and off the race-course!
There are currently eleven J24’s in Tasmania most Hobart at the Derwent Sailing Squadron or the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania as well as the Port Cygnet Sailing Club on the Huon River.
We’re always keen to see new faces on the water, so please contact us if you’d like to come out for a sail.
We welcome new sponsors
If you’d like to get involved with the biggest active one design keel boat fleet in Tasmania, we’d love to talk to you! The benefits of class, event or individual J24 sponsorship include:
Opportunities to communicate your marketing message
Increase product exposure/brand awareness – Appeal to a broad cross section of the community and especially the upscale consumer demographic!
Enhance your corporate image – Supporting the sponsor’s normal above the line communications activity by demonstrating ability and a desire to become involved in community team sporting activities.
Positioning – Associating with the state body of an international class for an event will enhance a sponsor’s level of esteem and prestige among its current and potential customers.
Affordable!
Yacht racing provides a unique multilevel sponsorship proposition that, when matched to the right brand owner and exploited to the full, is hard to beat. While the sport meets many traditional sponsorship objectives, it also has a track record in many of the increasingly important sponsorship targets, including internal communications, employee motivation and corporate branding.
